As part of the Azadi ka Amrit  Mahatsav campaign, YK College hosted district level inter-college Extempore speech, Painting and Sports (Badminton & Table Tennis) competitions respectively on 23rd July, 2022; 30th July, 2022 and 2nd August, 2022. Students from government  colleges located in Thoubal district participated in the said competitions.
