In collaboration with Manipuri Department of Y.K. College, the Kavi Leitanthem Ram Singh Memorial Trust, Thoubal organised the 99th Birth Anniversary of Kavi Leitanthem Ram Singh on 7th September, 2022 at the New Conference Hall of the college. Under the convenorship of Dr. L. Anand Singh, HOD & Assistant Professor of Manipuri Department, the function was graced by Moirangthem Rajendra Singh, President of Manipuri Sahitya Parishad (Thoubal); Dr. Thounaojam Khomdon Singh, President of Kari L. Ram Singh Memorial Trust and Dr. S. Giri Singh, Principal as chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively. The dignitaries and invitees recalled and narrated the life story and contributions of (late) Ram Singh as a poet. About 100 persons gathered for the function at the venue.
