Wolrd Ozone Day-2022 was observed in the Mini Conference Hall of Y.K. College on 16th September, 2022 by joint initiative of the Internal Quality Assurrance Cell (IQAC), Environment Club and the Committee for Observation of State National & International Days of the college. Resource persons from various departments of the college spoke about ozone layer and the importance of Ozone day observation. Dr. Th. Ritendra (Asstt. Prof. of Chemistry), Dr. N. Sovarani (Asstt. Prof. of Env. Science), Dr. V. S. Soreimi (Asstt. Prof. of Geography), Toperjeet S. Seram (Asstt. Prof. of Botany) and Hoipi Haokip (Asstt. Prof. of History) gave lectures about the theme of this year’s Ozone day celebration. About 50 participants including faculty members and students of the college attended the programme.
